How a maternity photoshoot in Essex works…

2. CHOOSING YOUR DATE
Once we connect, we’ll find the perfect date for your maternity photoshoot. The ideal time for maternity photos is typically between 28 and 34 weeks, when your baby bump is beautifully visible but you’re still feeling comfortable. I’ll work with your schedule to select a time that suits you best, ensuring we capture this moment before baby arrives.
3. SESSION PAYMENT
There are two options to pay for your photo shoot below. You can choose to do either of the following:
A- Pay a £100 deposit and the remaining balance nearer to your shoot
B- Pay your session fee in full
4. PREPARATION
Preparing for your maternity photoshoot should be an exciting and seamless process! I’ll provide guidance on outfit choices, location options, and any special details you’d like to incorporate. Whether you prefer flowing dresses, soft neutrals, or something bold and unique, I’ll help you select pieces that complement your style. If you’re including a partner or family, I’ll offer tips on coordinating outfits for a cohesive look.
5. ON THE DAY OF YOUR PHOTOSHOOT
Now, the fun begins! On the day of your maternity photoshoot, my goal is to create a relaxed and enjoyable environment where you feel confident and radiant. Whether we’re capturing soft, intimate moments indoors or a glowing sunset session outside, I’ll gently guide you through natural poses that highlight your beauty and connection. No stiff or forced smiles—just authentic, heartfelt moments reflecting this incredible chapter of motherhood.
5. RECEIVING YOUR PHOTOGRAPHS
Once your maternity photoshoot is complete, I’ll carefully edit the images. Within a few weeks, you’ll receive a stunning gallery of images to look through and select your images as well as any required prints.

SOME QUESTIONS?
When do I need to book my shoot?
It is always a good idea to book your maternity photoshoot in Essex in advance. My calender is usually booked 4 months in advance. I do however hold a couple of dates for people to reschedule if needed
How do I reserve a session?
Once we have decided on a date you will recieve an invoice for the session with the option to pay the £100 deposit now and the rest later, or pay the full amount upfront. Once the payment is made, your booking is confirmed!
What if I need to reschedule?
No problem! Just get in touch with me as soon as you know, and we’ll work together to find a new date that suits your family.
What’s included in the package?
You’ll receive a gallery of fully edited images and 5 digital images. These are yours to print, share, and treasure forever! You will also be able to order additional images and prints from the gallery.
Can I give this session as a gift?
Yes! Family photoshoots make the perfect gift for loved ones. Let me know if you’d like a voucher, and I’ll create one for you to present.
How many people can be included?
My photoshoots are based around a family of five. However sessions may include extended family for the extra session fee of £20 per person for up to 16 family members.
What area do you cover?
Most of my families visit the Chelmsford area, where I have access to stunning locations perfect for any season. However, I'm more than happy to travel beyond Chelmsford and its surroundings (up to 10 miles) for your session. For locations outside this radius, an additional travel fee will apply.
