Why Hylands Park Is Perfect for Family Photos

Hylands Park has so much variety — open grassland, towering old trees, and pockets of long wild grass. It feels like a little escape from the bustle of Chelmsford, while still being so easy to get to. Families love it because:

The Session

This session took place on a late summer evening, just as the sun was dipping low. With mum, dad, and their two children, we tucked ourselves under the shade of the big trees before heading into the long grass.

The children loved every minute — lying back to look at the clouds, giggling as ladybirds crawled across their hands, and going bug hunting with mum. We played games, snuggled together, and let the golden light wrap us up in warmth. These unposed, joy-filled moments are always where the magic happens.
